BUA MORTAR TILE ADHESIVE FIX XL BRAND for fixing large-sized tiles (XL)  

High bonding strength, No vertical slip, Formulated for swimming pool tile

Properties 

Suitable for fixing large-sized tiles and non-absorbent tiles 
such as granito tiles, porcelain tiles, granite tiles, slate tiles
and artificial stone tiles. It’s perfect for both interior and 
xterior applications on wall and floor such as bathroom, 
kitchen room and swimming pool.

Mixing
  • Mix Bua Mortar Tile Adhesive with 5-5.6 litres of clean water per bag. 
  • Mix thoroughly using a low speed drills (300-400 rpm) for 3 minutes until achieving a homogeneous texture.
Plastering 

Apply the adhesive onto the control surface area (approximately 1 m 2) for tiling by using the flat side of u6, u10 or u12 notched trowel to a bed thickness of 3-12mm for 6"x6" tiles. Then use the notched side of the trowel to comb the adhesive in horizontal direction. Lay the tiles on the adhesive and press them in place by tapping gently with a rubber mallet.All joints shall be straight and the tile joint should be 2-15mm in width (the adhesive should be combed in a horizontal direction only for wall tile fixing). Adjustment of tiles should be carried out within 10-15 minutes of laying and allow the adhesive to dry out for a minimum of 24 hours before grouting.
