The Visit of Chief Executive Officer Heidelberg Materials Asia to Pukrang Plant
On October 4, 2024, Mr. Roberto Callieri ,CEO-Heidelberg Materials, Asia, visited Pukrang Plant, where he was received by Mr. Nopadol Ramyarupa and Mr. Salvatore Palazzo, Managing Directors, the Managements, and the Plant Manager.
On this occasion, the Plant Manager leaded the inspection of the factory working areas and the progress of several projects that the company has invested for sustainable development and operation efficiencies, such as the Solar Farm Phase 2, the Limestone Separate Grinding, and the Chlorine Bypass projects which has kicked off in 2024 and planned to run in Q4'25. The project will enable kiln 1 to increase the alternative fuels substitution rate to up to 55% switching from fossil fuels. This will increase energy efficiency and in line with the company's policy to reduce carbon footprint and environmental impacts. In addition, the executives provided an advice on work area managements to be clean and safe which will be the key elements of effective accident prevention. They also emphasized the leadership and role models of all executives and senior management in terms of occupational health and safety.
