EIA Monitoring Awards 2024
Asia Cement Public Company Limited, Pukrang Plant, received the 2024 awards for compliance with the measures outlined in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report. The awards recognizes the company's efforts in “the Limestone Industrial Mine Project for the Cement Industry” and “the Power Generation Project from Reusing Hot Air in the Cement Production Process” of Asia Cement Energy Conservation Company Limited. The award was presented by Dr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, at the EIA Symposium and Monitoring Awards 2024, held on October 9, 2024, at the Grand Richmond Hotel, Nonthaburi.
In addition, the Company hosted an exhibition booth at the event, showcasing Mining Innovations, Waste Heat Recovery Plant (WHR), and Solar Power Plant, as well as highlighting its commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
The Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) also organized an academic seminar during the event, bringing together experts from both public and private sectors to exchange knowledge and experiences on the environmental impact assessment system. The seminar emphasized the importance of accuracy, efficiency, and fostering trust and confidence across all sectors.
