Asia Cement participated TCMA to visit Minister of Industry

On Monday, February 10, 2025, Asia Cement Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), visit Mr. Ekanat Promphan, the Minister of Industry, presented the progress of their cooperation in reducing greenhouse gas emissions with the Ministry of Industry. The discussion covered the following topics:
1. Saraburi Sandbox Low Carbon City: Thailand’s first low-carbon city initiative.
2. Waste Management: Utilizing co-processing in cement kilns turning waste to value through the cement production process (Zero Emission Concept)
3. Smart and Green Mining: Elevating mining practices for sustainable economic and community benefits, including utilizing mining pits as water sources and learning centers for the community.
In addition, they also exchanged views on current challenges in the Thai industrial sector and discussed future cooperation to achieve the goal of Net Zero.
