Reforestation Activity in Plant Genetic Conservation Project Under the Royal Initiation of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sinrindhorn

Asia Cement sponsored the reforestation activity in Plant Genetic Conservation Project Under the Royal Initiation of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn held by Mae Wak Club. Over 500 people consisting of government officers, students and people in Baan Nang Lae Village, Pong Yang Kok Sub-district, Lampang Province jointly grew various kinds of seedlings in Baan Nang Lae forest park herb. The company has continually supported such project for more than 20 years to campaign for the participation of youths, students and the general public in natural resource conservation and restoration, community forest space enlargement, bringing about natural variety, creating green area to mitigate pollution and encouraging good surroundings in order that local people can realize the significance and usefulness of trees in order to jointly nourish forest with voluntary mind. This can be the way leading to learning of local people on wise and sustainable consumption of natural resources.
