Thai Cement Manufacturers Association in conjunction with Royal Irrigation Department held the training course on "How to apply hydraulic cement in construction work" for Royal Irrigation Department officers.

Mr. Rapee Sukhyanga, Vice President of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association joined in the training course on "How to apply hydraulic cement in construction work." Mrs. Katanchalee Thammakul, Director of Policy and Strategy Work Group, Climate Change Management and Coordination Division, Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning gave a briefing on "The Policy and Planning on Lessening the Country's Greenhouse Gas Emission B.E. 2564-2573" and Prof. Dr. Somnuk Tangtermsirikul, Sirindhorn, Head of Construction and Maintenance Technology Research Center, International Institute of Technology (SIIT) lectured to make technological insights into hydraulic cement and how to apply it in construction work. In addition, Prof. Dr. Somnuek Tangdermsirikul and Mr. Anon Jamyam, one of the members of TCMA on Sustainability Working Group together answered the questions on production process in order to build confidence on turning to apply hydraulic cement in the construction work of Royal Irrigation Department. Therefore, to get along with the Memorandum of Understanding on Integrating Cooperation on Climate Change Management and make Thailand attain its greenhouse gas emission lessening target the aforesaid training course was thus organized.
